RE: Domino 601 on Linux Server Setup fails with Java prob - Segmentation Fault ~Julia Zekgeroterobu 25.Apr.03 04:22 AM a Web browser Domino Server 6.0.1Linux - RedHat
Hi, after lots of trial/error and researche, my Domino Linux server seems to be running now, althought I'm still getting error when connecting to the primary server in a Win2000 box!!! (I'm getting the message saying that "the server is not a recognized TCPIP host"??). It seems to me that the access to the Win2K box is blocked someway. Any settings to be done in the Notes.ini file to pass the name and password? I would appreciate any help.
My system is RedHat 9.0, Kernel 2.4.20-8, uniprocessor, glibc2.3.2-11.9 and Domino 6.0.1. I installed the IBMJava2-JRE-1.4. The .bash_profile is the default without the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL line. I think that only the new JRE is necessary to run Domino in this configuration, I'm not getting the "segmentation fault" message anymore. I'm a Linux newbie, so thinks are still strange to me.
